Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt! Our team picks you up from Cairo International Airport. Check in to your hotel, freshen up, and meet your fellow travelers over an authentic Egyptian welcome dinner. Evening free to explore the vibrant streets of downtown Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx
The moment you've been waiting for! Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the legendary Sphinx. Optional camel ride across the desert. Afternoon visit to the Egyptian Museum to see King Tut's treasures. Evening sound & light show at the Pyramids.
Day 3: Old Cairo & Khan El Khalili
Explore Islamic Cairo — visit the Citadel of Saladin, Muhammad Ali Mosque, and the bustling Khan El Khalili bazaar. Learn the art of haggling! Afternoon visit to the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue in Coptic Cairo.
Day 4: Fly to Luxor — Karnak Temple
Morning flight to Luxor. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex — the largest ancient religious site in the world. Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes. Check in to your Nile-view hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 5: Valley of the Kings
Cross to the West Bank of the Nile. Visit the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs were buried for over 500 years. See the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile at sunset.
Day 6: Desert Safari & Camping
Drive to the White Desert for a once-in-a-lifetime desert safari. See surreal chalk rock formations, enjoy sandboarding, and camp under a blanket of stars. BBQ dinner in the desert with traditional Bedouin music.
Day 7: Alexandria Day Trip
Drive to the Mediterranean coast city of Alexandria. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, and the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Enjoy fresh seafood lunch by the sea. Return to Cairo for farewell dinner.
Day 8: Departure
Final breakfast together. Airport transfer arranged based on your flight time. Depart with a heart full of memories, a camera full of photos, and friends for life! Ma'a salama, Egypt! 🇪🇬
